Biography
Caspar Beck graduated in History of Art and Architecture from Manchester University and has accumulated 30 years of professional experience in design, architecture, and photography, working across Manchester, London, and Sydney. His artistic achievements include exhibiting and selling works at the Royal Academy in London as well as at galleries in Philadelphia and Perth, Australia. Since returning to Pembrokeshire in 2012, he has been painting from his home studio.
Caspar’s painting style draws inspiration from the cubism, constructivism, and futurism movements of the early 20th century. His works often place the subject tantalisingly within reach of the viewer, though they frequently transcend realism altogether. Influenced by his background in design and architecture, his compositions are structured and harmonious, with colours inspired by coastal environments both at home and abroad.
