The Celtic Rainforest
Take one of our woodland walks through the limited region of the Celtic Rainforest near the Cleddau estuary. We love the peace and authentic feel of this region, naturally gardened by leaving trees, leaves, and fallen wood to decompose naturally. This supports the natural ecosystem, providing a habitat for decomposers, including insects and fantastic fungi (spot the bracket fungi at work on dead trees), which play a critical role in breaking down organic matter and maintaining soil health. This habitat, now considered more threatened than tropical rainforests, fosters remarkable biodiversity.
