The roads are very narrow from Naish and Milton, so we recommend following the brown signs from the main road through the village of Cosheston.

Follow directions as per google maps to the carpark.

There is free parking onsite.

While most of our paths are wheelchair friendly, there are both narrow and steep sections particularly in the upper woodland. There are also steps down into the rose garden so this is not accessible to wheelchairs.

Blue badge holders can speak to member of staff occupying the hut about disabled parking closer to the Castle to improve accessibility on the upper steeper sections of the gardens, closest to the main carpark.

The gardens, gallery and cafe are closed over the winter months October to April.

The gardens and cafe are open daily from 1st April 2025 until 14th September 2025.
